interview six students on their individual research: Seth Butler, OMS-II, and Liam Nguyen, OMS-II for their research on the “Evaluation of Using the Sphygmomomanometer Test to Assess Pain Sensitivity in Chronic Pain Patients vs. Normal Control;” Taylor Ouellette, OMS-II for her research, “A Novel Role for Primary Cilia of the Cardiac Neural Crest in the Maturation of Ventricular Myocardium in the Embryonic Heart”; Tiffany Greenleaf, INBRE Fellow, for her research on, “Examining Bacterial Resistance Using Varied Experimental Approaches”; Taylor Langevin, OMS II for, “Head Impacts in Women’s Collegiate Rugby: Incidence and Force Application”; and Divya Padmanabhan, OMS-II for, “The Effects of Neonatal Pain on the CRF System in Neonatal Amygdala Tissue in the Rodent Model.”

A total of thirty-seven posters were presented by COM students, including four oral presentations. The event was made possible by the COM Department of Biomedical Sciences, the Research & Scholarship Committee, and the UNE Office of Research & Scholarship. View research forum poster participants.
