Ethical rules are a part of science as they are a part of life . Scientific researches cannot be done if a scientist doesn ’ t know the previous researches . But we all have a question : Can these ethical rules stay the same in the future ?
Humanity is facing a lot of problems with the rapid development of technology . Phenomena such as hunger , drought , lack of water , wars are destroying humans mentally and physically . Also , the race between governments is damaging this ethical system , too . In today ’ s world there are a lot of things which are non-ethical for humans ; for example , genetically edited child . Topics like this are non-ethical because they make a bigger financial difference . But in a future full of crisis , like extinction , we may have a different point of view . Dilemmas like this form the ethical rules . Governments make agreement about ethical rules but a lot of political situations can block these agreements .
With the rapid development in medical science there are some technologies which could make humans ’ life longer . But if these technologies won ’ t be available for every single human being , that would destroy the entire justice system . As we can understand from this example , people are making these rules , not governments themselves . Governments are talking about these ethical rules because they want to control their people . Also , in the future , governments have to make more audit about ethical rules ; the reason why they have to do it is technology . Technology is limitless but rules have boundaries .
Ethical culture is changing with the hopes and lives of humans . I don ’ t know how much this system which is trying to set rules with biased institutions can survive . As a result , ethical rules have to be in our lives in the future as it is now . If we don ’ t follow these rules , we will be in trouble . But if the good people keep believing in , hope , peace and humanity will continue to exist .
