SA–Botswana Platjan
Bridge border’s pre-
cast upgrade

The 155m-long Platjan Bridge and two approach roads are under construction over the Limpopo
River between South Africa and Botswana. The bridge is being constructed by Botswana firm
Estate Construction, with South Africa’s CoreSlab manufacturing and installing the precast
concrete bridge beams. The client is SPEDU (the Selibi Phikwe Economic Diversification Unit).
