Conceptual Consultants Tender Infrastructure Institutional Water, institutional Botswana Ghana The government of Botswana has received a loan from the World Bank towards the implementation of the Botswana Water Security and Efficiency project and intends to use part of the funding to finance consultancy for the Mambo Wastewater Treatment Plant Feasibility Study, Tender Management and Construction Supervision. Background: The Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) under the Ministry of Land Management, Water and Sanitation Services in the Republic of Botswana intends to engage an experienced consultant to carry out feasibility study, tender management and construction supervision at Mambo WWTP. The consultant will execute a feasibility study, tender management and construction supervision for the refurbishment, rehabilitation, upgrading and expansion of the Mambo WWTP at Francistown and the surrounding areas which disposes wastewater to Mambo WWTP. The consultancy services will be for a continuous period of three years. The Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor (WSUP) & Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) of the Republic of Ghana have allocated funds as part of its budgetary allocation to cover the cost of the amelioration of liquid waste treatment ponds at Oti landfill site, Kumasi and intends to apply these funds to cover eligible payments under the works contract. Water and sanitation for the urban poor (WSUP) invites sealed tenders from eligible tenderers for septage headworks, rehabilitation of ponds, construction of drying beds and settling tanks. Design Road and power grid Infrastructure Roads KwaZulu-Natal Construction of services and infrastructure for a new development comprising of two precincts – Inyaninga and uShukela Highway – which is located between Tongaat and the new King Shaka International Airport in KwaZulu-Natal. The Inyaninga precinct is accessible via the R102 towards the KSA. The Inyaninga precinct comprises a multi-modal logistics hub based upon road, rail, air and sea linkages through the existing road and rail networks, Dube Trade Port and Ports of Durban and Richards Bay. The development will consist of industrial, manufacturing, business parks, offices, services and retail facilities. A residential development is proposed close to the R103 as well on the western precinct. Project value: +R100-million. 32 - CEC January 2018 Procedural Infrastructure Ghana The Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development through the government of the Republic of Ghana has received funds from the International Development Association (IDA) towards the cost of the Local Government Capacity Support Project. The Obuasi Municipal Assembly has received part of the project funds under component 2A urban development grant (UDG) and intends to apply a portion to cover eligible payment for the works indicated. The Obuasi Municipal Assembly invites sealed tenders from eligible contractors for the construction of drains and sealing of access road and extension of electricity to Kunka Market at Obuasi.
