The Ghana Grid Company Limited
(GRIDCo) has received financing from
the French Development Agency (AFD)
and intends to use part of the funds for
payments under the following project:
GRIDCo Master Plan Update for a 10-Year
Horizon (2018–2028) under component D
preparatory studies of the 330kV Kumasi-
Bolgatanga Transmission Line Project. The
services of the consultant shall be to carry
out the update of the existing generation
and transmission master plans for the Ghana
power sector (public authorities, utilities,
WAPP secretariat, donors, and the like);
have a clear, comprehensive, and coherent
view of the future development of power
generation and transmission facilities in the
country; and to provide a rational basis for
decision-making and implementation.

potential water supply alternatives that
could contribute to water supply to the
CAN over the medium term. Thereafter,
to clearly identify feasible options that
can make a significant contribution to the
security of water supply in the CAN before
implementation of the identified long-
term option of the Okavango River and/or
desalinated water from the coast.
