American Association of University Women ( AAUW ) Lake Oswego presents Dr . Kim-Hien T . Dao who will speak about her cancer research on developing treatments to stop the advance of leukemia : “ Clonal Hematopoiesis : A Newly Discovered Risk

Factor for Blood Cancers and Heart Disease .” The Woman Engaged in Advancing Health Research study is evaluating early markers of heart disease and blood cancers in order to have early detection and an intervention strategy . Participants in the study are women 65 and older who do not

The talk is on April 14 at 10 am at Oswego Heritage House , 398 10th Street , Lake Oswego . The meeting is free ( no tickets needed ), and the public is warmly invited .
Dr . Dao is an assistant professor in the Division of Hematology and Oncology , Center for Hematologic Malignancies at Oregon Health & Science University ( OHSU ). She is also a member of the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute . In addition to laboratory research , she also sees patients who have damage to the blood-forming cells in their bone marrow that has transformed into leukemia . Post-doctoral internal medicine training at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego , California and her hematology / oncology fellowship training at the University of California helped prepare her for
Hoping to maintain and grow the Charbonneau Golf Club ' s food services for her team , Club members and the community , is the goal of Annie Keil , 27 , food and beverage manager .
Annie grew up in the Canby and Oregon City , but she lived in Charbonneau when she was 18 while raising her two dogs Apple and Nora . She currently lives in Wilsonville .
She is excited to work here with the community and the team of people already working for the Charbonneau Golf Course .
Annie ' s experience includes working in customer service for many years . She managed a high -volume , drive-thru coffee shop in Wilsonville after working as a barista at Starbucks for about five years . She has also worked as a personal assistant / marketing manager and as an office manager for Coldwell Banker in Lake Oswego for more than 60 agents .
