The Alzar School would like to express our utmost gratitude for the Jordan-Wilcomb Construction group. Jordan-Wilcomb contracted the very first phase of campus constructions and we have partnered with them once again on the Campus Buildout. A family run business, Jordan-Wilcomb operates out of Boise, Idaho and consistently tackles projects that improve health and education statewide. Their philanthropy extends beyond select construction management projects. Jordan-Wilcomb has graciously donated $10,000 to the Alzar School Campus Buildout! We are beyond thankful for their altruism and look forward to making the Alzar School vision a reality together.

The Alzar School would also like to thank the Donnelly and Cascade, Idaho Elementary classes for welcoming us into your classrooms and allowing our students to proctor mini Spanish lessons. We hope to work together again to help animate a love for Spanish learning in young students.

With the snow finally melted, construction has picked up on the Campus Buildout. Students returned from Chile this spring to find the completed North Fork Dining Hall expansion and the framing walls for the Headwaters Building standing. In less than a year, so much has happened and we are forever grateful to all the donors who made it possible. As construction continues, we also continue to raise the remaining $1 million needed to complete the Alzar School Campus vision.

The Alzar School is excited to announce that we will be hosting the 2nd annual Semester School Teacher's Conference June 12th-15th. The conference will converge teaching staff from Semester School Network schools to discuss educational philosophy, practice and challenges. Dr. Linda Nathan, Executive Director of the Center for Artistry and Scholarship and adjunct professor at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, will be attending as the keynote speaker.
