Giant ballons dazzle crowds at the Lake ENLIGHTEN FESTIVAL OF LIGHT AND SOUND ADDS TO THE PLEASURE OF A DAY - AND NIGHT - OUT PINOZ were among crowds gathered along the banks of Canberra’s Lake Burleigh Griffin early March 2017 to watch one of the world’s best and biggest hot-air balloon spectaculars and light shows. n By GLORIA ROSS Balloonists from all over the world descend on Canberra every March to dazzle and delight locals with their spectacular air show. The event coincided with Enlighten Festival, a breath-taking festival of light featuring architectural projections, local and international installations, live entertainment and food.
