MEETINGS & EVENTS MEETINGS & EVENTS Spooky Fun Each October faculty, staff, and residents from our Pediatric Dentistry training sites compete in a Halloween photo competition each October. The event not only brings smiles to young dental patients, but creates team spirit and unity among all 13 training sites. Photos are posted on our Facebook page. The 2016 contest winner, based on the greatest number of “likes” was Tampa, Florida. Congratulations, and thanks to all who participated! ••• Visiting a PEDS Site NYU Langone Hospitals Postdoctoral Dental Residency Program leaders visited Cute Smiles 4 Kids in Phoenix, AZ August 2017. Neal Demby, Senior Vice President, and David Okuji, Senior Associate Director, Extramural & Special Projects of NYU Langone Hospitals Postdoctoral Dental Residency Program, and Dr. Jack Dillenberg, A.T. Still University of Health Sciences' Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health Dean Emeritus, joined dental leaders from across the country at the American Dental Education Association annual session, held March 18-21, 2017 at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center in Long Beach, California. ••• Hawaiian Retreat Twenty residents, alumni, faculty, and staff of our programs in Hawaii enjoyed a three-day retreat at the Kilauea Military Camp on the grounds of the Volcanoes National Park over the February Presidents Day holiday.
