Heaven can be described as lying on the beach with the hot sun warming the sand, sprawled out on a beach blanket, listening to the ocean, feeling the sea breeze, hearing the seagulls, and reading a great book filled with lots of cozy short stories. Mrs Jeffries and her crew help their boss, Inspector Witherspoon. This time it hits close to home. A woman shows up at the inspector’s house which takes Mrs Jeffries by surprise. Her sister in law is scared of being accused of murder. How come we never have heard of this sister in law? They haven’t spoken in years since Mr Jeffries had passed. Read more of Babs's review here Address to Die For is the debut book in Mary Feliz’s Maggie McDonald Mystery series. I thought the book was rather enjoyable. There are enough suspects to keep the reader guessing as to who did it. That is what I like most about cozy mysteries…is there enough information and characters to keep the reader guessing up until the very end. This is that book. Read more of Babs review here What a great read when you are kept on the edge of your seat. I admit I have not read the first book but I did not feel like I was left out of anything. With that being said I will read the first one. The characters are that great. I could not put the book down. Things are going well for Sally and the bakery and her re-newed relationship with Mike. Sal and Josie have gotten great news they will be in the Cookie Crusades. A tv show that the winner can win a good bit of money fame for the bakery. Read more of Babs's review here
