Pistons at the Park Classic & Supercar Event
Sunday 17th April - 10.30am to 12.30pm
Not long to go until our next Pistons at
the Park event!
Pistons at the Park will take place on
Sunday 17th April 2016 from 10.30am
to 12.30pm at Thremhall Park, Bishops
Stortford. The Coffee Shop will be
open for refreshments, bacon/sausage
rolls and snacks.
Thanks to all of you for attending our
Autumn ‘Pistons at the Park’ event.
We had a fantastic turnout, in excess
of 150 interesting vehicles squeezed
into our car park which is beginning to
feel very small!
Those of you who have been
supporting us from the start might
remember the original premise of
the event which was to have an
informal gathering of interesting cars;
like-minded people getting together
with their cars on an invitation basis
to chat about their cars and their
motoring season which, as the event
is held in April and October, is either
just beginning or has just ended. That
said, we recognise that the popularity
of ‘Pistons’ has caused us some issues,
especially with catering and parking
control, both of which we’ll try to
address for the next event which will
be held on Sunday April 17th 2015.
As a way to both manage numbers
and raise money for a worthy cause
we will be asking all those who are
bringing their car along to make a
donation to our 2016 nominated
charity, Bowel Cancer UK. Please click
