The Belly Dance Chronicles July/August/September 2017 Volume 15, Issue 3 | Page 40

So it’s time we ask ourselves if we are doing what we want to do, if we are living the way we want to live, dancing the way we want to dance: are we living life (dancing life) as if we own the stage? If the answer is “no” anywhere within those questions, take a deep breath, let it out slowly, and plant your feet firmly and stand strong right where you are (even if you just imagine doing so in your mind). Right now is a new now and your power to effect something better for your tomorrows is NOW. The power is always in the NOW and you can always affect a new change at any moment in time. So dance with freedom, joy and wild abandon – like you are the sole owner of your own dance stage – and then let how that experience occurs for you move into the other areas of your life. If you do that, you’ll be dancing your life with that same freedom, joy and wild abandon and, as a result, things, circumstances and events will then begin to move into your life experience that will delight and amaze you. 40 The Belly Dance Chronicles  July 2017 One day, likely not too far from now, you’ll look back and realize, happily, that you are living a very different, a far more beautiful, life than you had been living before. And the more you notice that with joyfulness and gratitude, the more you will be pulling into your experience even grander things to then experience and enjoy, and then feel grateful for, etc. It then keeps cycling up and up and up.
