Q. What percentage of donations are earmarked to support the women you serve?
A. 100% of our donations go directly and indirectly to support our women. We truly depend on donations, sponsorships and volunteers. We have a shoe string budget for WoW, as it is all about giving back to our women of worth, and providing them the tools they need to move forward in their journeys.
Q. Are there any other opportunities aside from the Gala that an individual can donate?
A. Absolutely! You can go on the website and make a monetary donation or submit a volunteer application. We also have fundraisers throughout the year people have come to enjoy supporting and attending, including our annual Monte Carlo fundraiser. This evening of casino games, food and music awards more than $13,000 in prize drawings of various donated items ranging from free airline tickets and resort stays to gift baskets and high-quality accessories.
So, mark your calendars this year, February 24, 2018, and come dressed up to support the theme of 50's Sock Hop. Advanced tickets are only $25 person. We are also sponsoring a Mad Hat(ter) Party in May and car show in August!
