Coral Chambers was born and raised in Helena Montana alongside 6 sisters and 2 brothers. When she was 10 she fell in love with Carol Burnett and years later, was introduced to Eddie Murphy via Saturday Night Live. That’s when she knew she’d be on their stage one day.

While in High school Coral competed in annual acting competitions earning the title of Montana State Champion as a Junior, in Humorous Duo Acting, and then again as a senior in Humorous Solo Acting. Immediately after graduating she moved to New York to pursue her acting career. She took the lead in “I See the Moon,” at the Maureen Stapelton Theater for Hudson Valley Community College.

One husband & two kids later, Coral found herself competing at the MAAI (Modeling Acting Association International) convention in New York City. (The same event where Elijah Woods was discovered) She brought home first place acknowledgements in Monologue, Sit-Com, coral-chambers-filmSoap Opera, & Commercial.

In 1999 Coral began work as the PSA Director at NBC 38 in Twin Falls Idaho where she worked on over 300 PSA’s and other local commercials; writing copy, producing, voicing, and editing work for local businesses. Then, in 2001 she took on the responsibility of the morning voice for the Magic Valley as the co-host on KIKX 104.7 “Southern Idaho’s Number one Adult Music Station.”

As her children reached their high school years, Coral reentered school herself. Attending Utah Valley University where her writing credits include 2 10 minute plays; “Everybody Wants Me,” selected and produced as part of UVU’s S.A.S.T. (Short Attention Span Theater), and “I Love You More,” one of 5 selected from 50 submissions for KCACTF (Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival) Region VIII. Her acting credits include her stage debut in Elephant’s Graveyard, alongside Chase Ramsey, followed by The Crucible, & The Imaginary invalid, where each performance the audience chose what accent she would use; Scottish, English, Southern, or Minnesota, and finally in her first Shakespeare play-The Taming of the Shrew. She was also honored to take part in The Sundance Summer Theater program as Dolly in “Annie Get Your Gun.” During her Jr. & Sr. years Coral was honored to work alongside and learn from Jason Alexander (George Costanza: Seinfeld). She received her Bachelor’s degree in performance in the spring of 2014.
