Future Generations Scholarships Awarded by Ohio County Community Foundation The Ohio County Com- munity Foundation awarded a total of $116,000 to fifty-eight Rising Sun seniors through the Future Generations Schol- arship program established by the City of Rising Sun. The recipients are Alyson Barnes, Shelby Armstrong, Sydney Elliott, Alex Koons, Sebas- tian Mathis, Dylan McBride, Bryce Murray, Meighan Sullivan and Sydney Willhite, Austin Armstrong, Emma Barnard, Bailee Bostic, Shane Chase, Whitney Chipman, Ben Eads, Dustin McBride, Whitney McKay, Caylin Mondary, Bryce Potraffke, Haley Presley, Lily Ramsey, Emily Smeeks, Erin Webb and Jamie Williams, Carson Blackwell, Riley Bovard, Courtney Dilts, Abigail Fletcher, Brady Murray, Nicole Rider, Mackenzie Scott, Anna Slack and Tiffany Vinup, Brandon Benning, Claire Blackwell, Tristan Brown, Macy Elliott, An- gelo Gallegos, Claire Poling, Jacqueline Stapleton, Ken- nedy Theetge, Scott Webb and Kyla Willhite, Steven Adam- son, Kasey Baker, Chelsea Brown, Sarah Camden, Lucy Carrigan, Breanna Cravens, Christian Fisk, Trevor Levi, Colton McKay, Jake Scott, Meg Slack, Caroline Staple- ton, Molly Smeeks, Anna Uhlmansiek and Justis White. Students have volunteered approximately 18,000 hours since the program’s inception in 2006. The Future Generations Scholarship is available to all 2006 and later Rising Sun High School graduates that have completed the required service hours and have met the current year scholarship crite- ria.
