Executive Director Letter Tremendous Blessings As I announced in our last Beacon, our original building renovation is now complete. Our February Open House was a success and this additional 20,000 sq. ft. of space is already a tremendous blessing. If you were unable to attend the Open House, please feel free to stop by at any time for a personal tour. We do love showing off what God has done! Two new Early Intervention (EI) classes are currently taking place in this new space, with plans to begin two more EI classes in June. As funds allow, it is our hope to add several more classes in August as we begin a new school year. I want to acknowledge and give credit to our incredible staff for all the ideas and creativity in planning new programs to serve so many more children. I believe the future holds so much more than we have even dreamed of and our staff play a key role in this. The teamwork exemplified by our entire staff to reach our goals is so inspiring. Each person is gifted in their specific area of expertise and committed to fulfilling the vision of the LLH. The part they play in the overall success of our programs is a tremendous blessing. I also want to recognize each of you, our donors and volunteers, who give so freely of your time, talents and treasures to come along side our staff to assist us as we fulfill the mission of the ministry. You are a tremendous blessing. May we all continue to “bring glory to God as we provide special services to improve the quality of life for children with special needs, their families and their communities”. May the Lord fully and completely bless you in every area of your life for being a tremendous blessing to us. Jean Winfrey, Executive Director Marcia Mitchell, founder of Little Light House, giving a tour in the new building. Tiny feet are taking huge steps during our EI program. We love seeing the community that is growing in our new space. Our students LOVE Monday Morning Music in Sunshine Hall. The space gives the kids tons of room to dance and spread out as they enjoy singing songs led by Mrs. Samantha. 2 | THE BEACON
