In the past two years, the Little Light House has celebrated their 45th year
as a ministry, expanded into a bigger facility, and developed the Little Light
House Junior Board. The Little Light House established a Junior Board in an
effort to engage, educate and inspire youth in philanthropy and begin a path
to nonprofit leadership. Through participation in this program, young people
are given the opportunity to learn leadership skills, gain understanding
of how a nonprofit organization works and how to develop, promote and
implement their ideas to further God’s kingdom. As young leaders, they
are dedicated to being a part of this ministry and furthering its growth, by
hosting their first inaugural event “Pups, Yups and Food Trucks” on Saturday,
May 5, 2018. Their goal is to raise $15,000 to benefit the children of the Little
Light House.
