During the week: #1 SUNY Cortland played Cazenovia on 4/28 in their final
regular season game going out on a winning note defeating them 11-2.
#2 Frostburg St. started their week on 4/29 pounding out 29 hits in a DH sweep of
Mount Aloysius in their final home games of the season winning 13-1 and 15-1 to tie
FSU's school record of 35 wins in a season. Sophomore Ryan Callahan worked 5.0
innings on the mound allowing just two hits and one unearned run to improve to 4-1
on the year. #3 Wisc.-Whitewater on 4/27 split a DH with UW-Platteville. Losing
game one 2-3 and winning game two 5-2. On 4/29 they played #15 UW-Stevens
Point in a DH dropping both games 2-3 and 5-15. #4 Salisbury on 4/27, Salisbury
used big innings in the fourth and the ninth to earn an 8-3 victory over nonconference opponent Neumann University. Ryan Daiss pitched eight innings to
earn his team-leading sixth win registering five strikeouts and allowing only three
runs. #5 Birmingham-So was idle during the week.

5/1/15: CORTLAND, N.Y. – Brandon Serio allowed three hits and one
unearned run in seven and a third innings as Cortland opened SUNYAC
Tournament play with a 14-5 win over Fredonia.
Cortland (34-2), the top seed and ranked first nationally in Div. III, will face
third seed Brockport in a winner's bracket game Saturday at 1 p.m., while the fourth-seeded Blue Devils
