On September 13, 2018, we braced ourselves for the hurricane named Florence. We are now
months since the storm, recovering and revitalizing our island and we are better than ever! Homes

Our little slice of paradise, Emerald Isle and the entire Crystal Coast, is ready for another wonderful
summer season!
At the end of 2018 our sales market was working with lower inventory than normal. Our 2019
spring market has started out strong and we have seen an increase in sales inventory and buyers.
Although the inventory has increased since 2018, we are still in need of homes to sell. Our market
conditions are favorable with property values holding strong and interest rates remaining low and
attractive to buyers. Our expectation throughout 2019 is seeing newly remodeled properties hit the
market with all the upgrades buyers are looking for.
