There really are three main themes of cloud computing: the SAAS model, publishing traditional applications from the virtual server world to the traditional desktop or maintaining a virtual environment that you host lo- cally or in a data warehouse for some or all users in your firm. Any way you slice and dice it, one thing is perfectly clear now: despite the name cloud which is a murky, wet, cold and damp atmospheric phenom- enon, nothing is really happening in the clouds. The power of the cloud is the power of your internet bandwidth, the reliability of your service provider, the benefit of the environment as well as the justification of cost.
