O
n October 28, 2014, the Public Interest Law Section
of the Atlanta Bar Association held one of its Dinner
Series events with former Governor Roy E. Barnes,
the 80th Governor of the State of Georgia and the most recent Democrat to hold that office. We were honored to have
a conversation with Gov. Barnes the week before the midterm elections to learn more about his accomplishments as
governor and hear his thoughts about the very close upcoming elections.
In addition to Gov. Barnes, we also had the pleasure of
enjoying conversation his lovely wife, Marie. We had a
wonderful discussion about the importance of education and
the tools for good ]
