On May 8, 2018, the Litigation Sec-
tion of the Atlanta Bar Association
hosted is annual Bench and Bar
Reception. Thank you to Nelson
Mullins for making their beautiful
offices available to us. The event
was well attended. The food was
excellent, and many stayed late
enjoying the opportunity to catch
up with friends outside the normal
hustle and bustle.
This year, the Honorable Doris
L. Downs of the Fulton County
Superior Court was the Honoree.
Lynn Roberson introduced her
dear friend, Judge Downs.
Judge Downs is a double Dawg,
having received her bachelor’s
degree and her law degree from
the University of Georgia. Judge
Downs has been on the Court since
1996 and has previously served as
