T
he Litigation Section is in the
middle of a very busy spring.
In April, the Section hosted
a fascinating panel discussion
entitled “Social Media: Practice
Development Through Verdict.”
Georgia State University College
of Law Professor Nicole Iannarone
moderated a panel consisting of
practicing attorneys Jennifer Jordan
and Alex Khoury, and jury consultant
Dr. Andrew Sheldon.
Our final
section meeting was the annual
Legislative Update featuring Rep.
Ed Lindsey (R-Atlanta) and Rep.
Stacey Evans (D-Smyrna), which
took place on May 9 at 7:30 a.m. at
Ansley Golf Club.
Additionally, the Section’s signature
event, the Bench and Bar Reception,
was held on May 13 at Nelson
Mullins, where we honored Fulton
Superior Court Judge Cynthia
Wright with the prestigious Logan
Bleckley Award. Attendees enjoyed
great food, drink and camaraderie.
We thank everyone who was in
attendance for this commemorative
event.
