Paying tribute to the public safety agencies that serve throughout the city
and state with the annual ILE Ceremony and Memorial Service

Representatives from public safety agencies and other dignitaries
gathered at Woodruff Park on May 14, for the Interagency Law
Enforcement Appreciation and Memorial Service. The annual
event takes place during National Police Week when the downtown
community gathers to pay tribute to the public safety agencies that
serve the downtown area, as well as other areas of the city and the

state. The event is hosted by Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) and the
Atlanta Downtown Improvement District (ADID), in partnership
with the Atlanta Bar Association and the Atlanta Bar Foundation.
The event’s intention is to demonstrate the community’s appreciation
for all law enforcement throughout the state of Georgia,
