We asked each Atlanta Bar Board "What is your
favorite summer cocktail/drink?"
Mine is simple: Hendrick’s gin, soda water,
and cucumber slices.

My favorite summer drink is definitely a Mos-
cow Mule! I make it a bit sweeter, by using
pineapple flavored vodka. Then just add
in your favorite ginger beer, top with lime
juice, mix, and you have a refreshing tasty
beverage.

We go strawberry picking in May and I use
the fresh strawberries to make strawberry
daiquiris. I cut up the strawberries and put
them in the blender with chopped ice. I
gradually add rum until it tastes just right.

My favorite all year round drink of choice is
Savignon Blanc from Australia, New Zealand,
or South Africa (all good places for a CLE
program!).

Moscow Mule with muddled blueberries and
a splash of Blood Orange Soda Water.

White Linen Martini (Makes 1 Martini)
1 ½ oz. Hendrick’s Gin
½ oz. St. Germain Elderflower liqueur
½ oz. white cranberry juice*
½ oz. simple syrup
Splash of Sweet & Sour Mix
Cucumber slices for garnish
Combine all liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker over
ice and then pour into your martini glass. Or try over
ice with sparkling water or club soda. Garnish with a
cucumber slice.
*I love white cranberry juice in cocktails! It’s milder and
somewhat sweeter than traditional cranberry juice. Try
substituting it in any of your favorite cocktails that call
for cranberry juice. If you have difficulty finding it, try
requesting it from your local grocery store.

On a hot summer day, I like sitting on the patio
at Victory Sandwich Bar in Inman Park and
enjoying one of their famous Whiskey Coke
Slushies. Victory is also a few steps away from
King of Pops - another summer favorite.
