SUMMER TRAVEL DESTINATIONS AND TIPS
With summer in full swing , now is the perfect time for a vacation . It is not too late to get some much-needed rest and relaxation . Likewise , now is also a great time to plan for next year ’ s vacation because one would have firstpick on where to stay . Below is a quick glance at a few Atlanta Bar Association members ' favorite places to travel , along with a tip for that destination .
Italy
Beth Gilchrist Hill and Watchko
Jonathan Nwiloh ( Moore Ingram Johnson & Steele , LLP ): Italy is his go-to destination because of its history and architecture . His advice : " Do your best to fully embrace the language and the culture ." He adds that " some people are surprised to learn that not everyone in Italy is fluent in English ."
Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando , Florida Rachel Keller ( Hill and Watchko ) Her tip : use a free travel agent to help book the trip ( she suggestsPixieVacations . com , which is based locally in Canton , GA ).
Key West , Florida Steven Jones ( Galloway & Lyndall , LLP ): “ Key West might as well be another country .” He says that it is great any time of year , but is preferred in the non-summer months . He adds , “ It has the weird , history , beaches ( small ), fishing , food , and drink ,” and is “ completely bikeable .”
