Firm ): We hope to have great speakers at our breakfast and lunch meetings , and we have already planned a social event this fall and are working on one for the spring . Christy Sanders ( Construction Law ): The Construction Section plans to continue its tradition of hosting monthly breakfast speakers and great section socials . We ’ ll also continue publishing the quarterly section newsletter with updates on construction related caselaw . Brian Sumrall ( Workers ' Compensation ): We have lunches and breakfasts planned for every month , as well as an amazing holiday party . Hopefully , we will also be able to hold a social event in the early spring . We also plan on holding our annual Advanced Workers ’ Compensation CLE in February .
What are your expectations ?
Randy Butterfield : I am hoping to build on the great work that has been done in the last several years to revitalize the section . While we have come a long way , we still have a ways to go . Hopefully this year we will move a bit further in that direction . Al Caproni : I hope we will engage members with topics of interest to them and continue to build on the sense of community that the Estate Planning and Probate Section has . Jeff Cavender : My expectations are simply to have a year full of engagement , camaraderie and educational opportunities for our members . Rachel Platt : I expect and hope that our Section events remain beneficial to our members and that all sole practioners and members of small firms want to be involved with our Section . Christy Sanders : The Construction Section has a great history hosting of interesting and informative programs . I hope to continue that tradition . Brian Sumrall : We expect great attendance at all of our social events as well as increased membership . We also plan to continue making charitable
