Apply for the Atlanta Bar Association Minority & Diversity Clerkship Program

• 6 week paid summer clerkship program .
• Clerkships are provided by Atlanta area law firms and corporate legal departments . In addition , the program provides internships with Atlanta area judges .
• The 2018 Minority & Diversity Clerkship Application will be available via the Georgia Law School Consortium Symplicity site in December 2017 .
• Must be a 1L Law School student with one of Georgia ’ s five accredited law firms listed above to apply .
The Atlanta Bar Association Minority & Diversity Clerkship Program was established in 1985 . The objective of the Program was to increase and integrate the number of minority and diverse attorneys practicing in Atlanta law firms by facilitating their placement in first-year summer clerkships . Thirty-three years later , the Program continues to flourish with the assistance and support of the five accredited law schools in Georgia - Emory University School of Law , The University of Georgia , Georgia State University College of Law , Mercer University School of Law and Atlanta ’ s John Marshall Law School - and many Atlanta law firms , corporate legal departments and courts .
