Yulia Safin is a renowned Russian fashion designer and
entrepreneur. She is the name behind the iconic fashion
label ICON by Julia Safin, which she launched in 2001
as a young designer looking to bring something entirely
new to the fashion industry. Now, the brand needs no
introduction, as it has become a mainstay within the
luxury fashion world. Some of the most glamorous
fashionistas across the world have modelled the chic
designs of Yulia Safin, at some of the world’s most
prestigious events.
ICON began life as a couture evening gown designer
brand. Such was the popularity firstly in Yulia’s home city
of Moscow, that Yulia saw an opportunity to expand her
brand to offer a larger range of exclusive eveningwear.
This would also lead to branching out with a stunning
accessories collection to perfectly complement the high-
end eveningwear.
When Yulia was just 18 she had moved from Russia
to London to study International Relations. She fell in
love with the city and London is now her base, as she
enjoys the splendours of the great capital; the fine dining
restaurants, the fashion boutiques and people’s high
appreciation for fashion.
