5. Where do you find inspiration? Maya: Everywhere, I am always looking for it. Meena: people like Richard Branson do have a strong impact on me. I am talking about the kind of inspiration that helps you achieve your goals which is something very important to me: I 3. Are the three of you included in the design process, and if so, how do you manage to incorporate each of your styles? Maya: Whenever I design anything, I think of how Meena or Zeenat would wear it or style it. I come up with an idea, develop it, and then share it with Zeenat and we take it from there. Meena: I get some hints of what they are working on, but usually they leave it as a surprise till the end. Zeenat: Maya and I work together in the designing process. And designing Jewellery is not as easy as it sounds. There is a process that we have.  What I can share with you is that Maya usually starts sketching and then I come along and consult, add on it and give her a clearer direction This is where we sit and start step 2.  share my inspiration and learnings with my sales team. Zeenat: Inspiration can come from anywhere. You have many factors/ obstacles/ emotions. Everything can inspire you. But it’s not scheduled so make sure you always have a notepad. Even in the middle of the night when you’re half asleep.  6. What is your favourite aspect of being a jewellery designer? Maya: My favourite aspect of being a jewellery designer is when I can clearly see my collection ( in my head) , when my pieces are fresh out of the oven ( it’s like giving birth every time) and then when I see the reaction of our clients when they try on our pieces, this connection creates an immediate bond beween us because clients are able to see, to feel and appreciate the same thing we saw and this is priceless. 4. How has your cultural background influenced your creativity? Zeenat: Translating words into pieces and clients appreciating Maya: When we are designing pieces, we are sharing our stories and understanding these pieces  and parts of our personal moments and our beingness.
