The kitchen gave a nod to a Victorian pantry with its tongue and groove paneling, bespoke “shaker style” kitchen units, open
shelving and metro tiling. A key design detail was to make the most of the sash window that had previously been partially
covered. Clare did this by designing an integrated window box behind the double butler sink that the residents could grow
herbs in, their very own miniature kitchen garden!
For the bathroom, clare specified a highly desirable roll top bath, Victorian style WC and designed and had made a bespoke
“wash stand” which was painted sea green to add a pop of colour to the room. Geometric Patterns were used throughout
the apartment. Geometric tiles from Fired Earth were used in the bathroom and on the terrace adding a dash of graphic
modernity.
