Each maker will all be creating new work especially for Decorex. Every year a host of new exhibitors come to Decorex and 2016 is no exception. Specialist upholster, Aiveen Daly, will unveil ‘Treasured Possessions’ a new seven-piece collection inspired by the intrigue of haute joaillerie, with exquisite materials including Italian lambskin and silks. Family run business, Neatsmith, will show its bespoke, luxury wardrobes and kitchens. Santorus will present its debut collection of wallpapers, six ornate patterns an an array of dramatic colour palettes, each named after exotic spices and rich hues, drawing on the Indian heritage of the brand’s creative directors. Confirmed names include Anya Hindmarch, Jo Malone and Sir Paul Smith. Don’t miss ‘Crafthouse’, four substantial spaces presented by The New Craftsmen. This series of interactive roomsets will explore the fundamental characteristics of what makes a home by studying the domestic rituals by which we live (sleeping, bathing, eating and working). Makers involved will include Nic Webb, Georgia Kemball and Gareth Neal .Future Heritage returns with 14 new designers/makers.
