Chinese Artist Lu Hao Visits Lu Hao, one of China’s most famous and most influential contemporary artists and author of the unique Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano China Limited Edition, today visited the Ferrari headquarters, where he met Chairman Luca di Montezemolo. Lu Hao also visited the Galleria Ferrari, where he autographed the bodywork panel used to test the paint technique used for the special one- off 599 GTB Fiorano. The panel was donated to the museum in September and forms a part of the Non Solo Rosse exhibition, devoted to the fascinating subject of colour in Ferrari’s production history. Ferrari Lu Hao created the 599 GTB China with a special paint finish that reinterpreted the typical cracked glaze of Song Dynasty Ge Kiln porcelain. This unique car was auctioned in Beijing last November 3 for 1.2 million euro and the proceeds of the auction will be used to fund students of Tsinghua University’s Department of Automotive Engineering studying at the Politecnico di Milano University (Italy) and to undertake an internship at Ferrari’s factory.
