Laser Masters in Port Stephens
No kids this time, just the seasoned
sailors doing their thing up in Port
Stephens and what a regatta it was. The
first three days produced classic sea
breezes that allowed us to slot in eight
races. Although, after the first day, we
didn’t expect to get that many in, with
one of the Radial fleets racking up a
massive six restarts in one of the races!
Some people would say they were pushy,
but maybe it was the poor eyesight
making the minuscule pin difficult to
see. The last day was not quite the same,
with the late starting sea breeze causing
the AP to go up. Luckily the wind filled
in time to get one last race in. What a
fantastic place to sail, great weather,
great team, great fun and great results.
Many thanks to the Race Committee and
The Port Stephens Sailing and Aquatic
Club.
