A magnificent villa that leaves nothing undone in its quest for luxurious liveability When the Urban Land Institute and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) surveyed real estate experts, they found that two out of three of those interviewed either agreed, or agreed strongly that Spain currently offers good buying opportunities. This represents an extraordinary turnaround in sentiment and results in a report that terms Spain “one of the most remarkable property stories” in this year’s 'Emerging Trends in Real Estate Europe'. What is more, according to a new report published by Spain’s Notaries, the number of foreign buyers opting for Spanish property increased nearly 10% in 2013 over a year earlier, and foreign buyers accounted for more than one-fifth of all Spanish residential sales last year. Big increases in buyer interest were recorded among French, Russian, German and Belgian buyers. Expat buyer interest was particularly strong in Valencia (+16.9%), the Canary Islands (+15.7%), Andalusia (+15.6%) and Murcia (+15.2%).
