Image: Bötzow Berlin LA SOUPE POPULAIRE Berlin, Germany The former 1885 Bötzow Brewery produces the industrial chic space that adds a dramatic and raw ambience to La Soupe Populaire. The eclectic style consists of exposed brick walls, bare concrete, black steel, reclaimed wood, leather, exposed ducts and vintage pieces throughout. The space overlooks the old workshops, the walls now serving as an exhibition hall. 352 Changing shows of contemporary art take place in the lower level’s Studio House. Food is served on 1930s-inspired china by the Royal Porcelain Manufactory of Berlin (KPM Berlin). The fabulous cuisine is highly creative and the kitchen is run by Michelinstarred chef Tim Raue. There are two menus on offer: one that serves typical German/ Berlin dishes, while a second menu changes with the exhibition, with dishes created to complement the displays.
