The Fruit of Meditation are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Paul is the only one person who finished his journey well and said that he had a crown in heaven. The followers of Law cannot say that they have a crown, only believers of Grace can. There is a general misconception that if Law is preached people become holy and if Grace is preached, sin will grow. No! By Grace we become more Holy and Heaven is confirmed here on the earth. Paul abused, tormented and murdered many believers before his conversion. But he did not condemn himself. Likewise, he is asking us to forget our past, never look back at our sins and only run forward. He says, “Let not your sins disqualify you”. He is asking us to move forward looking at Jesus. Taking one step at a time, we will run easily as all the bags of sickness and defeat break loose from us. We will overcome all and come out as conquerors, for there is no defeat for us in the journey of faith. God gave Paul, a murderer, a new beginning. He will definitely give us a new beginning. So we should start fresh, fight for our faith of Grace and take the crown. Hallelujah! EPHESIANS 6 : 10 SAYS, Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. We should be strong in talking to ourselves. We should say “ I will overcome all my griefs by the Christ who strengthens me”. “ I will be delivered today by the Christ who strengthens me”. “ I will be healed by the Christ who strengthens me”. etc. When we hear and say to ourself, we see faith producing the fruit. EPHESIANS 6 : 11 SAYS, Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. The devil will always depress us by showing our problems. But we should seek only God for He rewards faith and the people who seek Him. When we are saying to ourselves, we are seeking God in us and He will manifest Himself. Hallelujah! God is found by the people who seek him. EPHESIANS 6 : 12 SAYS, For we wrestle not against ?esh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. All these evil spirits tell us that everything is impossible. They will not allow us to think of God and fight with our thoughts. The only way, devil can attack us is in our thoughts by magnifying our problems. EPHESIANS 6 : 13 - 14 SAYS, Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness. Grace is the truth and not Law. We should never condemn ourselves because we are made righteous. Every believer should say, “ God’s grace has judged me to be righteous, so all my griefs and difficulties should end”. If a believer wishes to come out of sin, he should not meditate on Law but talk to himself that he is righteous. Then he will become righteous. Even when a believer fails and falls into temptation, if he says that he is righteous, he will not fall and only be righteous. Only Grace works and not Law. The blood of Jesus has made us righteous and it will be strong in talking to ourselves. W e should say “ I will overcome all my griefs by the Christ who strengthens me”. “ I will be delivered to day by the Christ who strengthens me”. “ I will be healed by the Christ who strengthens me”. etc. When we hear and say to ourself, we see faith producing the fruit.” “We should PAGE 18 THE ACTS AUGUST 2013
