At Cox, we know that healthy employees
create a healthy business. We’re dedicated
to helping employees and their families take
a proactive approach to their total well-
being. Broader than just physical health,
Cox’s wellness programs also include
support for mental and financial health.

providing up to $400 in payroll credits for
participating. The screening is free, voluntary
and confidential. The hope for the program
is to encourage employees to take better
care of themselves through healthy eating
and physical activity.
Members of the Cox Medical Plan have
access to health coaches who can help
them reach specific goals, including
sleeping better, losing weight, quitting
smoking and more. Calls are free and
confidential, take less than 30 minutes and
offer a flexible schedule. Other benefits
include diabetes management, a 24/7
nurse line and a care advocate program
that aids people dealing with a serious
health concern.
Beginning in 2019, Cox updated its benefits
offerings to include gender confirmation
surgery, an offering in which our employees
have expressed interest. Other new health
benefits include an improved pharmacy plan,
FSA debit card and free preventive care.
Know Your Numbers
Understanding basic health metrics can
serve as a baseline to help you proactively
manage your risk for diabetes, heart disease
and other serious health complications.
Since 2012, the Know Your Numbers
program has offered free health screenings
to Cox Medical Plan members and their
