COX PEOPLE DIVERSITY & INCLUSION AT COX: A Business and Social Imperative Cox’s goal is to create a sustainable culture of diversity and inclusion (D&I) where all employees are valued and empowered to achieve business results. D&I is the foundation of transformative business performance and is a journey of continuous improvement. For example, we’re adjusting to the evolving relationship and approach to work that younger generations are bringing to Cox companies. Millennials and Gen Z represent the most diverse generations entering our workforce in our nation’s history. They bring fresh ideas and new perspectives that are greatly influenced by technology. We know that teams that value and leverage different perspectives outperform their less diverse peers. Going forward, a diverse employee base allows us to better anticipate 56 and serve the evolving needs of our customers including designing new product solutions, understanding how to connect to new demographic segments, developing effective marketing campaigns and interacting with customers face-to-face and virtually.
