Central Region
April 2017: The ACC Chapter of TACHE helped to host ”Fuerza Latinx: Serving and
Understanding the Strengths of the Emerging Majority event to engage attendees
with a student panel about factors that support success, expolore strategies for
building on the strengths of Latinx students, rediscover the benefits of bilingualism.
The event also served to make connections with community partners and colleagues
from area institutions.
