However, despite all of these achievements, when Fashion London
meets with the young designer, he is unassuming and even nervous
when discussing his work. Thankfully this shyness hasn’t hampered
his career trajectory, and we start our conversation by asking the
burning question: it’s a long road from studying at Truro College to
dressing stars for the international red carpets, so what initially set
him on the path to fashion greatness?
“It was a bit weird,” he explains hesitantly. “I was literally living in
the middle of nowhere, so fashion was never something I considered.
However I did a lot of art, a lot of oil painting. I went to art school
and when it came to do my degree, one of the courses was bespoke
tailoring and it all went from there.
