The
second
discrepancy
relates
to
food
security.
Between
2010
and
2012,
Yemen’s
food
security
situation
worsened.
There
had
been
a
doubling
of
the
number
of
severely
food
insecure
people,
and
nearly
half
of
the
Yemeni
population
did
not
have
enough
to
eat
as
of
2012
(WFP,
2012).
WFP’s
report
shows
a
marked
difference
between
rural
and
urban
areas,
particularly
with
regard
to
severe
food
insecurity
and
