Baseball Miracles , which began in 2011 , has visited Ireland , South Africa , Kenya , Dominican Republic , Honduras , and Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota .
Therese B . DeLisio ’ 77 has joined Episcopal seminary Bexley Seabury as Associate Professor of Theology and Liturgy and Academic Dean . She previously served as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at Union Theological Seminary in New York City , NY . Dr . DeLisio is a systematic theologian , liturgical scholar , theological educator , and an attorney .

Steven J . Virgadamo ’ 77 was invited by the Vatican Congregation for Catholic Education to participate in its 2015 World Congress on Catholic Education . The invitation-only Congress was held in Rome and aimed to formulate and refresh core education principles , guidelines for Catholic Schools and Universities .
Karl T . Bednarek ’ 78 has joined the Physician Network at Weill Cornell Medicine after having spent 33 years as a member of the Beth Israel Medical Center . He has moved his office to East 12th Street in New York City , where he practices gastroenterology . His son is almost 29 years old , while his daughter is 11 . He still enjoys tennis , photography , and model trains .
Joseph R . Ferrari , Ph . D . ’ 78 was named the sole recipient of the 2016 Distinguished Italian American Psychologist Award given by the Italian American Psychological Society , a special interest group of the American Psychological Association ( APA ). The award recognizes Ferrari for his extensive research , mentoring and public service . The APA also named Ferrari a fellow of its Division 8 , a special interest group within the organization focused on social-personality psychology .
John Bischoff ’ 79 joined the executive services firm Chief Outsiders to help the company ’ s clients with marketing . Before joining Chief Outsiders , Bischoff worked for New York Telephone and AT & T , then became Chief Executive Officer of the BISCH Group , Vice President of International Brand Strategy for the Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority , and Chief Marketing Officer for St . Irma Garcia ’ 80 ( center ) was awarded the Under Armour AD of the Year Award ( ADOY ) this past June by the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics ( NACDA ). The award spans seven divisions ( NCAA FBS , FCS , Division I-AAA , II , III , NAIA / Other Four-Year Institutions and Junior College / Community Colleges ). The ADOY Award highlights the efforts of athletics directors at all levels for their commitment and positive contributions to student-athletes , campuses and their surrounding communities . Garcia has previously been awarded with the ECAC Division 1 Female Administrator of the Year Award .
Donovan Gordon ’ 81 was appointed Director of Renewable Thermal by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority ( NYSERDA ). Gordon will help develop markets that support clean , high-efficiency , renewable thermal systems , including solar cooling , heating and hot water ; air and ground source
heat pumps , and wood-fired heating systems . Gordon has more than 28 years of experience in business development . He was Executive Director for the Long Island Geothermal Energy Organization ( LI-GEO ), President of D . Gordon Consulting Inc ., and a founding member of the New York Geothermal Energy Organization ( NY-GEO ).

Rev . Michael Tedone ’ 81 just celebrated his 25th Jubilee as a priest . He currently serves as chaplain at Kingsborough Community College , Manhattan Beach , and chaplain at Beth Israel and Community Hospitals , both in Brooklyn .

Rosanne D ’ Augusta ’ 86 is a teacher in the Department of Health and Physical Education for Brooklyn Technical High School where she is also the varsity volleyball coach and varsity badminton coach . Her volleyball team was city champion in the 2015 – 2016 season , while her badminton team was city champion in the 2014 – 2015 season .

She recently committed to Colorado State where she plans to play tennis in the fall of 2017 .
