About Kareen
Kareen Wilson is a contemporary artist who was
born in Jamaica. She majored in Psychology and
minored in Art at Macalester. She employs a variety
of techniques, to create drawings using charcoal,
pencil and ink, and paintings using watercolour and
acrylic. Most of her artwork, however, consists of a
combination of drawing and painting media. She is
inspired by the plethora of flora and fauna present
in her native Jamaica, as well as mundane subject
matter placed in unique situations. To see more of
