Nordic Training Centre launch event, Stockton
An engineering centre which is helping to plug
a global skills gap was officially opened by the
Mayor of Stockton, Councillor Maurice Perry,
who cut a ribbon at the company’s high-tech
facilities in Church Road.
Nordic’s managing director Peter Robinson said:
“This is really just the beginning. It’s our aim
to be the best engineering training and testing
facility in the UK.”

the impressive facilities at Acklam Hall in
Middlesbrough for an event marking the launch
of our last issue.
After a presentation by Tees Business co-editor
Dave Allan, Neil Whittingham of Acklam Hall
talked about his plans and vision for the hall and
the medical centre that’s being built alongside it.
