O BUSINESS BITES COCKTAIL LESSONS A CLASS ACT ne of the area’s leading cocktail venues has launched a range of corporate hire and events packages for Tees businesses. And several companies have already sent some of their employees on cocktail-making classes at The Nuthatch cocktail bars as team-building exercises. The Nuthatch has intimate venues in both Middlesbrough and Stockton and recently launched its new corporate and events packages which are also perfect for business development events and entertaining clients. The Nuthatch in Stockton recently hosted a team-building Cocktail Masterclass with the commercial property team at Endeavour Partnership. “The venue was fabulous and the staff were brilliant at sharing their extensive knowledge, demonstrating their cocktail making skills and helping us to make up our own creations,” said Endeavour partner Jamie Brown. “The challenges set were competitive and great fun. Most importantly the cocktails were delicious and just kept on coming!” Leading property developer Jomast also recently held an event at the venue, and commercial director Mark Hill said: “It was a real success. We were looking for something different to a plain box function room, and The Nuthatch certainly provided that. “Our guests were able to enjoy some fantastic cocktails, beers and gins in a great setting and everybody left happy.” The Nuthatch director Simon Hatfield said: “Our bars are already extremely popular with the business community across the region, so this seemed a perfect next step for us to work with local businesses to create experiences a little different to simply hiring a function room or taking clients for dinner. “We have a variety of different package options available and we can arrange everything from catering to entertainment.” To discuss your event requirements contact The Nuthatch by email at events@ the-nuthatch.co.uk or call 01642 688505. £9m contracts boost for Hartlepool firm H artlepool-based building contractor Gus Robinson Developments celebrated starting work on three new schemes with a combined value of over £9m in the summer.
