Grace Porter , Resolution Media & Publishing Marketing professional Grace Porter has joined Tees Business publishers Resolution Media and Publishing as the firm ’ s new business development executive .
The 28-year-old , who runs her own marketing company , has joined the Middlesbrough-based publishers to aid the firm ’ s business development .
Porter , from Newton Aycliffe in , will be tasked with developing new relationships for Resolution ’ s two publications , Tees Business and Tees Life – Teesside ’ s only business and lifestyle magazines .
“ Resolution ’ s portfolio of business and lifestyle magazines has gone from strength to strength , so this is a really exciting time for the company , and I am looking forward to being part of that ,” said Porter , pictured with Resolution directors Dave Allan ( left ) and Martin Walker .
After graduating from Newcastle Business School with a degree in business marketing in 2011 , Porter went on to work within events and marketing for homes and communities ’ business , livin , based at DurhamGate in Spennymoor .
She took time out after becoming a mum to daughter Pippa in 2014 but was quickly back to work when she took up a marketing role with web design agency Design365 , based on Aycliffe Business Park .
Porter then joined Woodham Academy as the school ’ s media and marketing officer , guiding the school towards a more modern marketing and communications strategy , before starting her own business earlier this year specialising in social media .

Iain Wright , NEPIC Former Hartlepool MP Iain Wright has succeeded Stan Higgins as its chief executive of North East Process Industry Cluster ( NEPIC ).
Wright had served as the town ’ s Labour representative for 13 years and was most recently chair of the Business , Energy and Industrial Strategy Select Committee .
The 45-year-old was Minister for Housing and Planning between 2007 and 2009 and Minister for Schools and Apprenticeships in
2009-10 .
He served as shadow minister for industry between 2011 and 2015 and , before being elected as MP for Hartlepool in 2004 he worked at One North East , the regional development agency . He began his career as a chartered accountant with Deloitte .
Rupert Summerfield , TTE Technical Training Group
Rupert Summerfield has joined Middlesbrough-based TTE from Stockton Riverside College and training provider NETA , where he worked within sales and business development management .
Before this he has held a number of managerial and roles in sales in the education sector .
Summerfield ’ s new role supports TTE ’ s growth ambitions in its areas of specialisation , which include the delivery of training programmes to clients in the engineering , oil and gas , process , chemical and manufacturing sectors , both in the UK and overseas .
