Late at night,
The darkest hour…
Staring at the ceiling,
Laying upright in bed…
Seeing stars,
All in my head…
I look next to me,
Down the Hallway...
I lay here overthinking,
Night after night,
Fantasizing about the life I desire,
And aching over my reality…
I allowed my heart to be soft enough for
illusion,
One more time…
A beautiful problem…
It’s sweet like cinnamon,
This dream that I’m living in…
