How do you feel like things will go this year with the play?
“I feel like it’s going really well. I think people won’t just go because their kid is in it, but because the
cast and crew is actually very impressive.”
What’s your favorite thing about rehearsing?
“My favorite thing about rehearsing is having the chance to put on this persona/character that’s very
different from my own personality.”
How would you describe being part of the play?
“I’d say that being apart of the play is a good opportunity for me, and I’m glad I took it. It’s extremely
fun.”

How do you feel like things will go this year with the play?
“So far, based on all the actors/actresses, I think the play this year is going to be great! Everyone is so
focused and dedicated, I’m really happy with the cast this year!”
What’s your favorite thing about rehearsing?
“I love how everyone accepts criticism, it’s like they’re all already amazing, but they can always get
that much better.”
What is your role as stage manager?
“Well, my role is basically to oversee rehearsals, meaning I tell everyone what they should be doing,
help with any problems, and giving everyone notes and criticism to help improve.”
My Experience with the Play
Being in something like this, a play or a musical, it’s exciting. You not only have to rely on
yourself to give it your all, but every single other cast and crew member, and all of it is
very overwhelming if you sit down and think about it. I have big expectations for myself,
which I hope I will meet not only for my own self-esteem, but for everyone else’s
expectations. Especially being a main character, with little to no performing experience, it
makes me work that much harder whenever I’m up on stage rehearsing, and I really do put
my all into every scene we go over, no matter how many times we redo it. Despite all of
that though, I love it, I love the people, I love how fun it is to make this character and
having to be them instead of yourself, I love it all. I really hope that you, whoever’s reading
this, consider seeing this year’s play which is showing on March 16th and 17th, 2018!
