world, "Lello e Irmao", chosen as a set for some scenes from Harry Potter set designers, with its magical, Gothic and Art Nouveau atmosphere . Visiting the "WORLD OF DISCOVERIES" the Interactive Museum with a water ride, we were immersed in a journey through time, expe-riencing the amazing odyssey of Portuguese navigators, who crossed the oceans on the caravels to discover a world till then unknown. This beautiful city offers its visitors not only architectural and scenic wonders, but also special culinary delights of fish and meat, as the typical layered sandwich, the extra large "Francesinha".
The journey to a foreign land, encourages students to open up to the world and to their future, to expand their knowledge and their cultural horizons, but mostly leads to self-discovery. The project was born from the need to involve the school to new realities different from the local context, by providing, personal, social and cul-tural opportunities activated by some experiences, exchanges and international contacts. A quality school, aims to motivate pupils, in the most appropriate way, developing knowledge and language skills, sharing new experiences , using information technology, working in groups to gain new useful methodological strategies , to create a moti-vating and engaging learning environment. By activating an educational project for a cultural exchange with Europe ', it turns out to be an unforgettable educational experience, leaving an indelible imprint in the training of the new citizen.
